The best way to explain to you what taxidermist need to properly fit your trophy to the correct size form is to show you where we have to take our measurements from. With this information you will know exactly how to process your meat and save what your taxidermist needs.
Keep in mind this is extremely important during rut. that rut trophy is what we all are looking for, so make sure you save all meat in all ABC & D areas.
For those life size mounts, make sure you measure the body length and the circumference of the girth or belly. bring those measurements with you to give to your taxidermist. same neck rules apply as above with shoulder mounts.
